Well it looks like Virgin Comics just could not make it happen in the Big Apple as they have announced that they are closing up shop in New York City. Needless to say the company which only opened their office in New York back in 2006 have not been able to get a product out to the comic industry that has made any real impact. The biggest impact that Virgin Comics and Virgin Animation has had was the arrival of Richard Branson in New York for the opening since then it’s been pretty much down hill since then.

The idea and concept behind the company is actually pretty good. According to their vision statement they are looking to tap into the talent pool over in Asia and bringing it to the masses through films, television, animation, gaming and all forms of entertainment. Read More »
