Looks like another key piece to the Avenger movie puzzle may finally be coming into place as there seems to be a lot of buzz over at Marvel that they are in talks to bring Kenneth Branagh into the director’s chair for the big screen version of the Mighty Thor. Looks like Marvel is staying on track with the rumored Avenger movie as Thor is major piece of the puzzle that needs to be flushed out and it looks like the latest date for the movie via Marvel and Paramount Pictures is July 16th, 2010.
Word has it that the script is going to follow the Mighty Thor as he discovers that as a god he has certain abilities and super powers at his disposal that he realizes can be used for the good of all mankind. Kind of a coming out of sorts, like Iron Man.
